July 4, 2008 - EDINBURG, Texas- The Edinburg Coyotes announced today that Game 2 between the San Angelo Colts and the Coyotes at Edinburg Baseball Stadium for Friday July 4th has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a double-header beginning at 6:05 tomorrow night to finish the series. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings.Any pre-paid tickets will be honored for any Coyote home game throughout the season. EDINBURG, Texas- The Edinburg Coyotes (21-28) played with poise throughout an 8-4 victory over the San Angelo Colts (28-21) Thursday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
LAREDO, Texas- The Edinburg Coyotes (20-28) lost to the Laredo Broncos (24-24) 4-0 in a rain shortened game Tuesday night at Veterans Field. The game ended in the bottom of the fifth inning after plate umpire Woody Belle decided the field was not suitable for the players.
